We are a transdisciplinary, dialogue-driven boutique practice including architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture, design installations, art, product design, brand, graphic and digital design, often integrating a combination of interests across our projects. We share our name with Arabic routes for “being and existence”.
Our diverse portfolio of work is notable for sophisticated yet simple design that responds to landscape, site, and programme. On every project, regardless of magnitude, we are known for our uncommon ability to balance scrupulous attention to detail, light, and clean craftsmanship with purposeful connections to the larger built and natural contexts.
Today, we also connect habitat for humans and non-humans alike with other considerations of sustainable materials, positive energy and water resource management, carbon and emissions control, and control of waste.
Further commitments to social sensitivity are also central to our work. Shaping the built environment and designing for humanistic sensitivity is embedded in our thinking. Every project is a unique expression of the ethos of its users and location in relation to climate and diverse social constructs.
